I. General requirements
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the projecthobit.cz websites by third parties (the "Terms"). By using the projecthobit.cz (including their content) and/or products and/or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms or do not want to be bound by them, do not use HOBIT sites, products or services. The HOBIT Project reserves the right to revise or modify these terms at any time at its sole discretion to reflect legal, technical or any other changes. Therefore, we strongly encourage all users to carefully read and review these conditions. These documents enter into force on the date of their last update.
II. Intellectual property
All copyright works, materials, trademarks, and other parts of the projecthobit.cz site, or parts supplied with the projecthobit.cz pages covered by copyright protection, remain under the ownership of projekthobit.cz or its suppliers in all circumstances. You are authorized to use the protected content and materials only in connection with the HOBIT Project and for the educational purpose only. You may not use commercially or in any form whatsoever to benefit from such materials or content, nor will you assist or allow the third party to act as above. If you find that wherever the above breach occurs, you agree to inform us immediately.
In order to use our services and products, you must have a valid registration. By registering, you consent to the processing of your data. You have full and exclusive responsibility for keeping your password secret and for not having access to your account other than you. Any activity coming from your account and/or authorized by your password is at your own risk. We strongly recommend that you keep your password and account information strictly confidential and do not share it with anyone.
IV. What information does the HOBIT Project collect and how does it handle it?
- When registering, you provide the HOBIT Project with identification information (such as your name and e-mail address). The data entered during the registration and the data you send through our e-learning platform will not be published nor given to another party. However, data may be shared with the scientist and research processors and the control authorities, but always in anonymized or pseudo-anonymized form, where identities cannot be identified.
- When visiting projekthobit.cz, we can send one or more cookie files to your computer - a small text file containing an alphanumeric character string that uniquely identifies your browser. You can set your browser so that it does not accept or accept cookies. However, some of the projecthobit.cz site features may not function fully if the "receive cookies" feature is turned off.
- Any information or content that you voluntarily post online (comments, pictures, etc.) will be publicly available and can be used and collected by other users. All images, labels, or other content you submit to projekthobit.cz's website may be further disseminated via the Internet and other media channels and may be accessible to the public.
- Your e-mail address will be included in our Newsletter for sending non-commercial or administrative notifications (such as announcements of major website changes, lecture invitations, etc.). You can withdraw from the Newsletter at any time without penalty by clicking the "unsubscribe" “odhlásit se z odběru” button in the Newsletter body without cancelling your account on the projekthobit.cz site or otherwise restricting the use of our products or services.
V. Processing time and right of withdrawal
The data will be stored and processed for as long as they are useful for research in cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases. When the utility expires, the data will be discarded.
VI. Commitment to security
The HOBIT Project implements commercially reasonable physical, managerial and technical measures to preserve data integrity and security of your personal data.
Your data may be shared with researchers for scientific and research purposes and control authorities, but always in anonymized or pseudo-anonymous form, where identities cannot be identified.
You have the right to request access to your personal data processed by the HOBIT Project, to request their correction, limitation of the processing, or to object to their processing.

VIII. Interruption / termination of service provision
We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend for an indefinite period the provision of our services to users who have breached (or are reasonably suspected to have breached) our Terms and Conditions. We will also terminate the service if you know that you are committing an inappropriate behaviour, and this assessment is purely discretionary for the HOBIT Project and can be done without giving any reason.
IX. Limitation of Liability
The Operator does not provide any guarantee that there will be no defects or no failures on the site. Despite all efforts, the operator cannot rule out the occurrence of computer viruses and assumes no responsibility for any damage that may be caused by viral infection. The operator also has no liability for unauthorized site changes, technical failures, errors or any other defects that may occur during the operation of the site.
